I used Emily Bayer Pacht for a sensitive case in which when I found her she seemed invested and contacted me quickly returned calls in a timely manner, we had a meeting that she setup with the prosecutor however that’s all she did, I spoke the whole time as the client I felt as though she did nothing. Shortly after the meeting and after she was paid and I didn’t hear back from her about the outcome, at all. Months later I emailed her and asked what was the status in which she did email back saying she would reach out to the other parties involved and that was the end of that. I still have yet to hear from her and after contacting the victims advocate I learned the prosecutor had reached out to Emily with new information months prior and she still did not share with me, her client, Emily was paid and that was all she cared about. This was not an easy thing for me and I wanted someone who was sensitive and cared about the actual case not money and that person was not Emily. I would never recommend her to anyone even in the most desperate times. I should have never hired her.
